Abstract:
An electric vehicle and a power supply method for an electric vehicle. The electric vehicle comprises that: a first battery pack is connected to a vehicle-mounted charger (3); a mounting groove (1) is formed on a vehicle frame (5) under a trunk floor (4) of a trunk of the electric vehicle; and a second battery pack (2) is detachably arranged in the mounting groove (1), the second battery pack (2) at least comprising that: a battery pack casing (21) is detachably connected to the mounting groove (1); a terminal block (22) is connected to a bottom part of the battery pack casing (21); a battery cell (23) is connected to the terminal block (22); a first end of two high-voltage wiring harnesses (24) is connected to the vehicle-mounted charger (3), and a second end thereof traverses the mounting groove (1) and the battery pack casing (21) to electrically connect to the terminal block (22); the vehicle-mounted charger (3) monitors in real time motor required power of a vehicle-mounted motor and output power of the first battery pack and the second battery pack (2), and selects at least one of the first battery pack and the second battery pack (2) to supply power to the vehicle-mounted motor. The present solution not only increases the cruising range, but also reduces the difficulty of battery replacement by means of a local replacement means. There is thus no need to go to battery swapping stations, which greatly saves the time of the user.
