Abstract:
An electric vehicle thrust-type mechanical continuously variable transmission (CVT) having a transmission ratio of 5-15, comprising driving push wheels and output conical pulleys. Working taper-faced rings on two sides of each driving push wheel are respectively in tangent contact with conical surfaces of the output conical pulleys. The driving push wheels revolve around the axis of the output conical pulleys but do not rotate on their own axes. By changing the radial positions where the working taper-faced rings of the driving push wheels are in tangent contact with the output conical pulleys, the rotation speed of the output conical pulleys is changed, thereby achieving stepless speed regulation, and achieving a change in the transmission ratio of 5-15 by means of a planetary gear output mechanism.
