Abstract:
A switched reluctance motor, comprising a housing and a rotor (410) and a stator (420) that are provided within the housing. The rotor (410) comprises multiple rotor teeth provided around the circumferential direction and rotor grooves (430) provided between the rotor teeth, where covering objects (500) are provided at corresponding groove openings of the rotor grooves (430) or fillers (600) are provided within the rotor grooves, thus reducing drag of the rotor. The switch reluctance motor has a small rotor resistance, high efficiency in outputting power, great performance at low speed, a wide efficiency platform, high power density, low noise, great environmental adaptability, high reliability, an extended service life, and a simple production process and is inexpensive. This is widely applicable in electric vehicles.
