Abstract:
This electric vehicle is provided with: a first inverter which is connected between a DC power source and a first AC motor and converts the power from the DC power source into driving power of the first AC motor; a second inverter which is connected between the DC power source and a second AC motor and converts the power of the DC power source into driving power of the second AC motor; and a smoothing capacitor which is connected between the anode and the cathode of a DC terminal of at least one among the first inverter and the second inverter. An LC circuit formed of the smoothing capacitor and parasitic inductance of a power line connected to the smoothing capacitor has a prescribed resonant frequency. A vehicle speed at the time when a frequency of a current and a voltage delivered from the first inverter to the smoothing capacitor matches the resonant frequency is different from a vehicle speed at the time when a frequency of a current and a voltage delivered from the second inverter to the smoothing capacitor matches the resonant frequency.
