Abstract:
An electric vehicle, comprising a vehicle body (1), a quick-swapping support (2) and a plurality of battery packs (5). The quick-swapping support (2) is connected to vehicle beams (11) of the vehicle body (1), and the quick-swapping support (2) comprises a plurality of battery pack accommodating areas (21) formed in the width direction of the vehicle body (1), a locking mechanism (211) being provided in each battery pack accommodating area (21). Each of the plurality of battery packs (5) has a locking member (51), the locking members (51) being detachably connected to the locking mechanisms (211). The plurality of battery packs (5) are independently connected to the corresponding battery pack accommodating areas (21) respectively by means of the locking members (51), the plurality of battery packs (5) being arranged in parallel in the width direction of the vehicle body (1). The plurality of battery packs are mounted in the plurality of battery pack accommodating areas respectively, so that each independent battery pack has relatively smaller size and lighter weight, thus allowing convenient installation and helping to standardize the battery packs; in addition, there is no need to use large transportation equipment to transport separately-placed battery packs, thereby reducing the requirement for a battery swapping apparatus.
