Abstract:
For a large cover region of a radio system to be estimated, there are provided an electric wave propagation characteristic estimation system and its method for rapidly and accurately estimating electric wave propagation characteristic in a part of the cover region to be investigated. When a transmission source and an investigation object region to be subjected to check of the propagation environment of an electric wave irradiated from the transmission source are given in a 3D region containing a plurality of contents, and an electric wave propagation environment in the investigation object region is to be estimated, electric wave propagation rough sketch acquisition means (10) determines an electric wave propagation rough sketch in the investigation object region or in the vicinity of it. Pseudo transmission source preparation means (20) prepares finite pseudo transmission sources for simulating the electric wave propagation rough sketch and electric wave propagation estimation means (30) performs detailed electric wave propagation estimation by using the finite pseudo transmission sources as new transmission sources and an analysis region including the investigation object region as an analysis object.
