Abstract:
[Problem] To propose a highly reliable electric wire which has a total conductor cross-sectional area of 2 mm2 or less. [Solution] An electric wire which is characterized by comprising: a twisted conductor (2) which has a plurality of strand conductors (21-27) twisted with each other such that the total cross-sectional area of the plurality of strand conductors is 2 mm2 or less; and a covering member (3) which is formed of a resin material having a bending modulus of elasticity of 0.6 GPa or more and covers the twisted conductor in such a manner that the inner wall thereof is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the twisted conductor. This electric wire is also characterized in that the outer circumferential surface of the twisted conductor (2) is provided with a recess which has a depth that is 5% or less of the maximum diameter of the twisted conductor, and which contains a boundary of the plurality of strand conductors in a cross-section that is perpendicular to the length direction of the twisted conductor.
