Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electric wire protecting insulation cover and, more specifically, to an electric wire protecting insulation cover, which: is coupled to an outer part of an electric wire so as to protect the electric wire from an external contact; has excellent coupling properties and insulation properties; and does not easily corrode even after long term exposure to external environmental factors (snow, rain, wind, and the like). The electric wire protecting insulation cover, according to the present invention, comprises: a hollow body for covering and protecting an electric wire; and a coupling part formed to correspond to a cut part, which is cut in the lengthwise direction of the body and coupled to the cut part, wherein the coupling part includes: a first extended part extending outwardly in the lengthwise direction of the body from one side of the cut part, and having a plurality of close-contact protrusions protruding at a predetermined distance from the inner side thereof, and a fixing protrusion protruding from one end of the inner side thereof; and a second extended part extending in the lengthwise direction of the body from the other side of the cut part, and having, on the inner side thereof, a plurality of insertion grooves in which the close-contact protrusions are inserted and a fixing groove part in which the fixing protrusion is inserted and is caught and fixed.
