This electric wire WT1 with a terminal is provided with: an electric wire 2 having a core wire 2B and an insulation covering 2C that covers the periphery of the core wire 2B; and a terminal 1 having a covering crimp portion 50 crimped to the insulation covering 2C. The electric wire 2 is led out backward from the terminal 1, and a water stopping member 60 for preventing liquid from penetrating into the core wire 2B is disposed between the inner periphery surface 20A of the covering crimp portion 50 and the outer periphery surface 2A of the insulation covering 2C. The covering crimp portion 50 is provided with a tilted extension portion 70 for reducing the flowing-out of the water stopping member 60 toward the outside due to the crimp.
