Abstract:
This electric wire has a conductor and an insulating layer covering the outer circumference of the conductor. The conductor has a first parent strand wire obtained by twisting together a plurality of first child strand wires, and a second parent strand wire including a plurality of second child strand wires twisted together on the outer circumference of the first parent strand wire. The first child strand wires are each formed by twisting together a plurality of first element wires, the second child strand wires are each formed by twisting together a plurality of second element wires, and the sum of a first ratio of the strand pitch of a second child strand wire to the outer diameter of the second child strand wire and a second ratio of the strand pitch of the second parent strand wire to the outer diameter of the conductor is 44.0 or less.
