Abstract:
This electric work machine comprises an inverter circuit, a power-supply-side switching element, a power-supply-side resistor, at least one circuit-side resistor, and a fault assessment unit. The power-supply-side switching element is provided between a DC power supply and the inverter circuit. The power-supply-side resistor is connected in parallel to the power-supply-side switching element. The circuit-side resistor is connected to the inverter circuit in a state in which, while all of a plurality of semiconductor switching elements of the inverter circuit are off, the circuit-side resistor can conduct power between the positive-electrode side and the negative-electrode side of the DC power supply in the inverter circuit. The fault assessment unit assesses, on the basis of a connection point voltage between the power-supply-side switching element and the inverter circuit, whether the switching element has short-circuited.
