Abstract:
Provided is an electric yo-yo toy wherein the weight of both rotating bodies is substantially equalized by distributing the electric components and the gear mechanisms to both rotating bodies with a good balance so that the electric yo-yo toy can be handled easily even by a young person or a beginner.
An electric yo-yo toy (1) comprises a pair of rotating bodies (10, 60), a main shaft (26) provided between the centers of the pair of rotating bodies (10, 60), and a rotating shaft (122) which is provided rotatably on the main shaft (26) in order to wind a string member (2). One rotating body (10) is provided with a drive motor (130), a gear mechanism (140) which transmits the rotation of the drive motor (130) to the rotating shaft (122), and a detector (100) which detects rotation of the rotating body (10). The other rotating body (60) is provided with power supplies (81, 82). The main shaft (26) is provided with the drive motor (130) and detector (100) of one rotating body (10), and a conduction means (40) for electrically connecting the power supplies (81, 82) of the other rotating body (60).
