Abstract:
Provided are an electrical apparatus management assist device and an electrical apparatus management assist method for assisting efficient use of electricity by a user of an electrical apparatus. A server device 10 (electrical apparatus management assist device) determines an electricity usage rate A during a predetermined period for each of already-installed electrical apparatuses 3 installed in a building 2 on the basis of actual values of power consumption and electricity unit rate information thereof; selects, for each of the already-installed electrical apparatuses 3, a different electrical apparatus provided with a specification equivalent to or greater than that of the installed apparatus; determines, for each of the already-installed electrical apparatuses 3, an electricity usage rate B during a predetermined period in the case where the apparatus 3 is replaced by the selected different electrical apparatus, on the basis of actual values of power consumption thereof during the predetermined period, the specification of the different electrical apparatus, and the electricity unit rate information; and generates, for each of the already-installed electrical apparatuses 3, information that indicates the effect of electricity usage rate reduction in the case where the apparatus 3 is replaced by the selected different electrical apparatus, on the basis of the electricity usage rate A and the electricity usage rate B.
