Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an electrical component socket (10) that, with a simple structure, is capable of raising the pressing part (42) of a pressing member (40) when the pressing part (42) is released from a depressed state, without letting the pressing part (42) come into contact with an electrical component (11) housed in the main socket body (10a). A manipulating part of the electrical component socket (10) is provided with a depressing cam (47e) and a lifting cam (47f). The depressing cam (47e) is caused to rotate via a main manipulating member body (45) as a result of said main manipulating member body (45) being rotated in one direction, and pushes a pressed part (42a) provided to the pressing part (42) downward to depress the pressing part (42), thereby pressing the electrical component (11) being housed in a housing part. The lifting cam (47f) is caused to rotate via the main manipulating member body (45) as a result of the main manipulating member body (45) being rotated in the reverse direction, and pushes a lifted part (42b) provided to the pressing part (42) upward, thereby lifting the pressing part (42) away from the electrical component (11) being housed in the housing part.
