Abstract:
An electrical device capable of functioning as either a resettable device or a
nonresettable device according to conditions. As such an electrical device, there
is provided an electrical composite device comprising a polymer PTC device and,
connected in series therewith, a temperature fuse member, wherein the temperature fuse
member is disposed so as to fall under a thermal influence from the polymer PTC
device, and wherein the melting point of the metal constituting the temperature fuse
member is at least 5°C higher than that of the polymer constituting the polymer
PTC device.
