Abstract:
An electrical connector for use in a modular illumination device, the modular illumination device comprising at least one module, and the electrical connector comprising a connecting head component; both the connecting head component and the module are provided with at least one male connecting head (3) and/or female connecting head (1); there is no exposed connecting wire between the module and the connecting head disposed thereon; and the connecting head on the module is cooperatively connected to at least one connecting head on the connecting head component. The modular illumination device realizes integrated connection of female connecting heads, soft connection between adjacent female connecting heads, and rigid connection between a male connecting head and a module of a water-proof connector, thus simplifying electrical connection between a power source and a lamp module; in addition, the device can be expanded to support a water-proof connecting device having a plurality of male connecting heads rigidly connected to a lamp module and integrated with female connecting heads.
