Abstract:
This electrical contact is produced using an electrical contact material having a layer comprising a carbon material, such layer being on a base material comprising a metal material having a resistivity of 1.59 × 10-8 to 9.00 × 10-7 Ωm. The carbon material is a single graphene layer or a graphene laminate obtained by laminating a plurality of such single graphene layers. The thickness of the layer comprising a carbon material is preferably 1.0 mm or less. The metal material is preferably selected from the group consisting of silver, copper, gold, aluminum, nickel, tin, alloys of these, and stainless steel.
