Title:
ELECTRICAL CURRENT DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/111408
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This electrical current detection system has: first and second magnetic plates (10, 20) arranged in parallel with prescribed spacing therebetween; a bus bar (30) through which an electrical current flows; and a magnetoelectric conversion element (41) for converting the lateral direction component of measured magnetic flux produced by the electrical current flowing through the bus bar, to an electrical signal. When an external magnetic flux along the lateral direction attempts to permeate a storage space (SS) defined between the first magnetic plate and the second magnetic plate, the trajectory thereof is deflected by the first magnetic plate and the second magnetic plate, and the storage space is divided into a permeation space (PS) that is permeated by the external magnetic flux, and a non-permeation space (NPS) that is not permeated by the external magnetic flux. The bus bar is situated within the storage space, and the magnetoelectric conversion element is situated within the non-permeation space. The bus bar and the magnetoelectric conversion element are arranged to line up in the height direction.
