Abstract:
This invention provides an electrical device comprising: a main power switch connected to a commercial power supply; a secondary power switch that receives a start/stop instruction from the user when the main power switch is ON; and a control unit for acquiring from the secondary power switch a notification signal notifying that the instruction has been received, and for controlling the start/stop on the basis of the notification signal; wherein the electrical device is able to prevent a malfunction caused by a misoperation by the user or an operation by an individual with malicious intent. This invention is provided with a transmission unit, which, when the notification signal is received from the secondary power switch, transmits a message to that effect to the control unit, and the invention is configured such that when a permission signal to the effect that the transmission is permitted has been received from the transmission unit, the transmission unit transmits the permission signal to the control unit, whereby the time period during which the secondary power switch is operated effectively is limited to a specified condition.
