Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrical discharge machining device which supplies working fluid to a machining gap between a machining electrode and a workpiece, and which performs electrical discharge machining, wherein the electrical discharge machining device comprises: an air-bubble generating means which generates air bubbles in the working fluid; a storage means which stores the working fluid containing the air bubbles generated by the air-bubble generating means; and a flow speed adjustment means which adjusts the flow speed of the working fluid flowing through the storage means. The flow speed adjustment means adjusts the flow speed of the working fluid, in accordance with the diameters of the air bubbles contained in the working fluid supplied to a machining tank in which the workpiece is disposed.
