Title:
ELECTRICAL FAULT DETECTION DEVICE AND VEHICLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/170556
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An electrical fault detection device (10) installed in a vehicle ensures detection accuracy while avoiding the use of expensive components and suppressing total costs. The vehicle includes a power storage unit (20) that is installed as insulated from a chassis ground of the vehicle, a first switch (MRp) that is inserted into a plus line (Lp), and a second switch (MRm) that is inserted into a minus line (Lm). The electrical fault detection device (10) installed in the vehicle includes a coupling capacitor (Cc), an AC output unit (13a), a first voltage measurement unit (13b), a first determination unit (13c), a voltage-dividing circuit (11), a second voltage measurement unit (12), and a second determination unit (13d). The voltage-dividing circuit (11) connects between the plus line (Lp) that is between the first switch (MRp) and one end of a load (2), and the minus line (Lm) that is between the second switch (MRm) and the other end of the load (2).
