Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotary electrical machine (1), in particular a hybrid-energised direct current machine for a steering drive for use in an assisted steering system, comprising: a rotor (6) comprising a rotor winding with rotor coils (10); a commutator (9) for mechanically commutating the rotor coils (10) of the rotor winding; a stator (2) comprising one or more energiser systems (E1, E2) lying next to one another in an axial direction, each system providing an arrangement of stator poles (3, 4) in the circumferential direction, the stator poles of at least one of the energiser systems (E1, E2) having one or more permanent magnet poles (3) and one or more electrically energisable passive poles (4).
