The invention relates to an electrical machine (1) comprising a stator (2) having a laminated core (3) which comprises sheets (31) stacked in an axial direction which are arranged from a first axial end (32) to a second axial end (33), a rotor (4) which is rotatably mounted around and axially arranged axis of rotation (5) and which interacts with the stator (2) in the operation of the machine (1) across an air gap (6), a winding (7) which is arranged on the air gap (6) and a first protective hood (11), wherein the air gap (6) is bounded in radial directions (9) which are oriented normal to the axial direction (8) by the stator (2) and the rotor (4), wherein the stator (2) comprises a first pressure device (10) which is arranged on the first axial end (32), wherein the first protective hood (11) is fixedly fastened at a connecting point (12) on the first pressure device (10) by a fastening unit (13) which comprises a first fastening area (1311) on the first protective hood (11) and a second fastening area (1310) on the first pressure device (10), a stator (2) for an electrical machine (1) of which the first pressure device (10) comprises the second fastening area (1310). The invention further relates to a method for producing the stator and to a method for producing the electrical machine.
