Abstract:
The given electrical machine includes a modular concept for stator coils and their excitation to get high current at low voltage under changing operating conditions of a joint engine or drive system. The optimal adjustment of the machine to the engine for the torque and the current is achieved by selective excitation of individual supply units for each modular stator winding which enables the integration in the engines or a drive system of a vehicle. The stator (20) in itself consists of stacked stampings with special proportion for the recesses to get slots (30) characterized by the gap (10) of each slot and the diameter of the conductors (50) due to achieve stator windings with a high fill factor. To get higher currents the first terminals (A1, A2,..., An) and the second terminals (B1, B2,..., Bn) of the required windings are connected together.
