Title:
ELECTRICAL MARINE INSTALLATION WITH ENERGY PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION AND CONSUMER UNITS AND CRYOGENIC SUPPLY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002024523
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical marine installation with energy production, distribution and consumer units, in particular for surface ships, comprising at least one HTSC-type generator (2, 30), at least one HTSC-type motor (10, 32) and a cryogenic supply device (3), by means of which the at least one HTSC generator (2, 30) and the at least one HTSC motor (10, 32) motor may be supplied with a cryogenic cooling agent. According to the invention, the installation volume, installation weight and production costs may be reduced, whereby further components and operating equipment (29, 31, 33) for the energy production, distribution and consumer units are of the HTSC type and are supplied with cryogenic cooling agent by means of the cryogenic supply device (3).
