Abstract:
The invention relates to an electric motor (1) for driving a pump, particularly a circulating pump for heating systems, having a motor housing (2) made of metal and a plug area (3) comprising an electrical plug part (4) having a plurality of plug contacts (5, 6) that can be plugged into mating plug contacts (29) of a mating plug area (30) of an electronics housing (28) of the electric motor (1). The plug part (4) is held in a floatingly movable manner on the motor housing (2), so that the assembly of the electronic housing (28) on the electric motor (1) can be done simply and without damage.
