Abstract:
An electrical power tool (1) has: a motor (3); a housing (2) having a body section (21) for accommodating the motor (3), a substrate-accommodating section (23) for accommodating a substrate on which a control substrate that operates the motor (3) is mounted, and a handle section (22) in which one end is connected to the body section (21) and the other end is connected to the substrate-accommodating section (23); a power-source cord (9) extending from the substrate-accommodating section (23) and capable of connecting to an alternating current power source; and a power-source circuit unit (8) having a choke coil (86) that eliminates noise and a film capacitor (88), and converting alternating-current power supplied from the power-source cord (9) into direct-current power. The choke coil (86) and the film capacitor (88) are accommodated in the substrate-accommodating section (23). The handle section can be made smaller and shorter, and ease of assembly of the electrical power tool can be improved.
