Title:
ELECTRICAL STIMULATION THERAPY INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/021754
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electrical stimulation therapy instrument that can output stimulation voltages more efficiently than before. This urination disorder therapy instrument includes: a pair of body surface electrode pads 37; an indifferent electrode pad 39 which has an area larger than the area of the body surface electrode pad 37 with the relatively larger area among the pair of body surface electrode pads 37 and which is arranged in the vicinity of the pair of body surface electrode pads 37; and a control unit 48 which supplies an electrical signal to the pair of body surface electrode pads 37 and the indifferent electrode pad 39. The control unit 48 (1) outputs, using the average potential of one of the pair of body surface electrode pads 37 and the indifferent electrode pad 39 as the reference potential, a stimulation signal from the other of the pair of body surface electrode pads 37, (2) outputs a stimulation signal from both electrodes of the pair of body surface electrode pads 37 with the indifferent electrode pad 39 as the reference potential, or (3) outputs a stimulation signal from one of the pair of body surface electrode pads 37 with the indifferent electrode pad 39 as the reference potential.
