An electrical storage element comprising: an external terminal (14) having an exposed surface exposed to the outside from an outer housing; a collector (13) arranged inside the outer housing and connected to the external terminal (14); and an electrode body (2) arranged inside the outer housing and connected to the collector (13). The outer housing is substantially cuboid-shaped and comprises: a lid (3) which configures one surface of the outer housing; and a battery container (1) which configures the other surfaces. The electrode body (2) is formed by winding a sheet-shaped positive electrode (5) and a sheet-shaped negative electrode (4) into a flat shape with a separator (6) therebetween and is housed inside the battery container (1) such that curved sections obtained as a result of the winding are positioned on the lid side and the bottom surface side. The lid (3) has an injection section (10) that opens into a gap formed between the curved sections of the electrode body (2).
