Abstract:
A method of testing an electrical submersible pump (ESP) component (101) may include placing an ESP component (101) in a transport assembly (100) at a first location for transporting to a second location. The ESP component (101) may be tested or maintained while the ESP component (101) remains in the transport assembly (100), before being deployed at a wellsite. The ESP components (101) can be prepared in the transport assembly (100) to be lifted (including placement of lifting clamps (112)) to run in hole. In various emdodiments, the transport assembly (100) may comprise the ESP component (101) and a transport basket (110) configured for stacking multiple transport assemblies (100).
