Abstract:
An electrical vehicle includ ing a vehicle frame, a battery arrangement for storing electrical energy, an electrical drive train includ ing at least one electrical motor for provid ing in operation motive power to one or more wheels of the electrical vehicle, and a power control arrangement for controlling in operation su pply of power from the battery arrangement to the at least one electrical motor. The battery arrangement is provided with a thermal control arrangement for cooling the battery arrangement in operation, characterized in that the thermal control arrangement includes a heating arrangement for pre-heating the battery arrangement prior to use when a temperatu re of the battery arrangement is lower than a temperatu re threshold, or a system for protecting a floor pan of a vehicle, wherein the system includes, a frame cou pled to the floor pan of the vehicle, a shaft cou pled to the frame using at least two springs and a roller arrangement su pported on the shaft, wherein the roller arrangement is operable to protect the floor pan of the vehicle by preventing contact of the floor pan against an elevated su rface, or an electrical vehicle includ ing a battery arrangement for storing electrical energy, an electrical d rive train includ ing at least one electrical motor for provid ing in operation motive power to one or more wheels of the electrical vehicle, and an anti-theft arrangement. The battery arrangement includes a plu rality of battery su b-u nits and the battery arrangement is connected to the electrical d rive train using a main contactor. Fu rthermore, each battery sub-u nit of the plu rality of battery su b-u nits is provided with a contactor that is connected to the main contactor of the battery arrangement. Moreover, the anti-theft arrangement includes a data processing arrangement that is operable to receive remote instructions to disconnect a contactor of at least o battery sub-unit from the main contactor of the battery arrangement.
