Abstract:
Provided is an electrically conductive particle with which continuity reliability between electrodes can be effectively increased, and cracking of an electrically conductive portion due to external shock can be effectively prevented. The electrically conductive particle according to the present invention is provided with: a base material particle; a first electrically conductive portion disposed on a surface of the base material particle; and a second electrically conductive portion disposed on a surface of the first electrically conductive portion. When an outer surface of the second electrically conductive portion is observed using an electron microscope, a pinhole measuring not less than 50 nm in a maximum length direction is nonexistent, or a pinhole measuring not less than 50 nm in the maximum length direction is present at the rate of not more than one per μm2.
