Abstract:
Provided is an electrically conductive roll for an electrophotography device, with which product terminal swelling and variations in product hardness are suppressed, and which exhibits excellent fluidity and storage stability of a material prior to curing. This electrically conductive roll 10 for an electrophotography device comprises a shaft body 12 and a non-foamed elastic body layer 14 formed on the outer periphery of the shaft body 12. The elastic body layer 14 comprises a crosslinked product of a silicone rubber composition containing components (a) to (d) below. The secondary particle diameter of component (d) in the elastic body layer 14 falls within the range 100-500 nm. Components: (a) an organopolysiloxane; (b) a crosslinking agent; (c) a microcapsule type catalyst comprising resin fine particles in which a crosslinking catalyst is encapsulated by a resin other than a silicone resin; and (d) silica having a BET specific surface area of 70-350 m2/g.
