Abstract:
Disclosed are an electrically conductive roller and an image formation device, both of which enable the formation of an image having no fogging even under low-humidity environments. Specifically disclosed is an electrically conductive roller (1) characterized by comprising an axle (2), an elastic layer (3) formed on the outer circumferential surface of the axle (2), and a urethane coat layer (4) formed on the outer circumferential surface of the elastic layer (3), wherein the urethane coat layer (4) comprises a urethane resin and at least one ionic liquid selected from a group consisting of a pyridinium ionic liquid and an amine ionic liquid in an amount of 1 to 20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the urethane resin. Also specifically disclosed is an image formation device equipped with the electrically conductive roller (1).
