Abstract:
This electrically driven blower is provided with: an electric motor having a threaded section provided at one end of the rotating shaft of the electric motor; a fastening nut engaging with the threaded section; and a centrifugal fan held on the rotating shaft by the engagement between the threaded section and the fastening nut. The centrifugal fan has an inducer, and the inducer has a through-hole at the center thereof. A stepped section is provided between the ends of the through-hole. The stepped section causes the inner diameter of the portion of the through-hole, which is located on the side opposite the electric motor, to be greater than the inner diameter of the portion of the through-hole, which is located on the electric motor side. The outer diameter of the fastening nut is smaller than the inner diameter of the portion of the through-hole of the inducer, which is located on the side opposite the electric motor. Also, the outer diameter of the fastening nut is greater than the inner diameter of the portion of the through-hole, which is located on the electric motor side. The threaded section and the fastening nut are fastened together such that the fastening nut axially presses the stepped section.
