Abstract:
An electrically driven compressor (1) is provided with: a circuit housing (11b) having accommodated therein a drive circuit (9) for an electric motor (5), the circuit housing (11b) being separated from a body housing (7) by a partition wall (11d); a heat generating element (9b) of the drive circuit (9), the heat generating element (9b) being made to be in contact with the contact portion (11i) of one surface (11f) of the partition wall (11d), the one surface (11f) being exposed in the circuit housing (11b); a sucked-refrigerant passage (13) provided on the other surface (11e) of the partition wall (11d), which is exposed in the body housing (7), and allowing a refrigerant sucked from the outside of the body housing (7) into the inside to flow therethrough; and an opening (15d, 21c, 23c, 11r) formed in the sucked-refrigerant passage (13) and guiding the refrigerant, which flows through the sucked-refrigerant passage (13), so that the refrigerant will flow to the contact portion (11i).
