Abstract:
An electrically driven dump truck which travels using electric power from a trolley wire by bringing a power collector unit, which is lifted/lowered by a lifting/lowering drive, into contact with the trolley wire. The electrically driven dump truck is equipped with: a position detection device for detecting the position of the electrically driven dump truck; a vehicle speed detection device for detecting the vehicle speed of the electrically driven dump truck; a storage unit for storing the position of the trolley wire and the time (hereinafter, referred to as lifting time) it takes for the power collector unit to come in contact with the trolley wire after the lifting of the power collector unit is started; and a control device for outputting a signal indicating that the power collector unit can be lifted , on the basis of the position and the vehicle speed of the electrically driven dump truck, the position of the trolley wire, and the lifting time.
