Abstract:
The invention relates to a driving device (1) for a ship, comprising a rudder propeller (10) with a propeller shaft (101) and with a vertical shaft (11) which drives the propeller shaft via an angular gear unit (100) and which is rotatably driven by an electric driving motor (12), and comprising a lifting device for moving the rudder propeller (10) between a retracted position within the ship and a deployed operating position outside the ship. A step-down gear unit (15) is provided between the electric driving motor (12) and the vertical shaft (11).
