Title:
ELECTRICALLY-DRIVEN TAPE CUTTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/102888
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In an electrically-driven tape cutter, a pinion gear has a magnet attached thereto and is connected to a drive source. A member equal in weight to the magnet is embedded in the pinion gear at a position axially symmetrical to the mount position of the magnet with the center located at the axis of rotation, thereby providing a rotational balance to prevent eccentric rotation of the pinion gear. Thus, an electrically-driven tape cutter which is improved, capable of preventing noises or failures in the device is provided. An electrically-driven tape cutter adapted to deliver from an exit the front end of an adhesive tape wound on a reel and cut it to a suitable length by an electrically-driven cutter blade installed in the exit, wherein in order to prevent eccentric rotation of a pinion gear having attached thereto a magnet connected to a drive source, a fitting member equal in weight to the magnet is embedded in a place symmetrical to the magnet-mounted position with respect to the axis of rotation of the pinion gear.
