Abstract:
The invention discloses an electrically driven tool having an electric motor for directly or indirectly driving a tool holder and tool inserted in the tool holder, at least one actuator for braking the tool holder, an energy store or a connection to an energy source for supplying electrical energy to the electric motor and a control unit for processing at least one user input, wherein the control unit has at least one comfort braking mode, which can be activated by a user input, for the user-defined braking of the tool holder and at least one emergency braking mode, which can be activated on a sensor basis by the control unit, for braking the tool holder. Moreover, a method for operating a tool is disclosed.
