Abstract:
The present invention is configured so that fluid flow noise is reduced regardless of in which direction fluid is caused to flow. The present invention is provided with: a first pipe joint (12) mounted to a side surface of a valve body (30); a valve seat member (33) provided either as a part of the valve body (30) or as a separate part from the valve body (30) and having a valve port (70) formed therein; and a second pipe joint (15) in communication with the first pipe joint (12) through the valve port (70). The valve port (70) includes: a first port (70a) located closest to the valve body (17); a first tapered section (70b) having an inner peripheral diameter increasing from the first port (70a) toward the second pipe joint (15); and a second port (70c) formed on the second pipe joint (15) side of the first tapered section (70b). A cylindrical flow conditioning section (80) for conditioning the flow of fluid is disposed or formed either inside the second pipe joint (15) or between the valve port (70) and the second pipe joint (15).
