Abstract:
The present invention provides: a unit price obtaining unit that obtains the electricity charges (unit price) per unit consumed at the time an instruction obtaining unit obtains an instruction to start operation of an electrical appliance; a power estimation unit that estimates the amount of power consumed by the electrical appliance during a prescribed period from the above time; a charges calculation unit that calculates an estimated amount of electricity for the prescribed period, based on the unit price and the estimated amount of power consumption; a presentation unit that presents the estimated amount via a presentation device; and a confirmation unit that prohibits commencement of operation of the electrical device from the above time, sets the device to standby, and applies an instruction from an input device to the electrical device.
