Abstract:
An abnormality detection circuit (200) detects an abnormality of an electricity storage device (5). The electricity storage device (5) is provided with a converter (4), an electricity storage unit (3), and an inverter (17). The electricity storage unit (3) includes a positive electrode terminal (T1), a negative electrode terminal (T2), and an electricity storage module (2). The positive electrode terminal (T1) and the negative electrode terminal (T2) respectively receive a positive potential and a negative potential from the converter (4). The module (2) has a plurality of cells (1) that are connected in series between the positive electrode terminal (T1) and the negative electrode terminal (T2). The abnormality detection circuit (200) is provided with a voltage detection circuit (8) and a control circuit (16). The voltage detection circuit (8) detects a potential of an intermediate node (Nm) positioned at the middle of the positive electrode terminal (T1) and the negative electrode terminal (T2) with a grounding potential (GND) as reference. The control circuit (16) determines an abnormality of the electricity storage module (2) on the basis of a change of an intermediate potential to ground (VM) from the grounding potential (GND), said intermediate potential to ground having been obtained from the voltage detection circuit (8).
