Abstract:
This electricity storage device is provided with: an electricity storage element; a breaker connected in series with the electricity storage element; a reception unit for receiving a discharge instruction for discharging the remaining power of the electricity storage element; and a management unit. The management unit performs: protection processing for protecting the electricity storage element from overdischarge by opening the breaker when the charging state of the electricity storage element has lowered down to a predetermined threshold value or less; and protection releasing processing for releasing the protection of the electricity storage element when the discharge instruction is received by the reception unit.
