Abstract:
An electricity storage device 1 which supplies electric power to a starter for starting an engine of an idling stop vehicle, and to auxiliary equipment, is provided with an electricity storage element 12, a measuring unit (current sensor 51) for measuring a physical quantity relating to an amount of voltage drop of the electricity storage element 12, and a management unit 55 for managing the electricity storage element 12, wherein the management unit 55 executes an estimating process (S101 to S104), at a prescribed point in time during the idling stop, to estimate a minimum voltage of the electricity storage element 12 during engine restart, on the basis of the physical quantity, and a notification process (S106) to issue a notification of an engine restart request to the idling stop vehicle if the minimum voltage is less than a prescribed threshold (S105: Yes).
