Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an electricity storage element in which the unevenness of a level difference suppresses effects on electrodes and separators and which has improved safety. This electricity storage element (1) is characterized in that: the electricity storage element (1) comprises an electrode body (10) in which electrodes (11, 12) and separators (13, 14) are wound onto a shaft core (15); the shaft core (15) is provided with a level-difference section (15c) and a securing section (50) to which the separators (13, 14) are secured; the separators (13, 14) include protruding sections (13a, 14a) that protrude from the securing section in the winding direction; and the protruding sections (13a, 14a) are folded to cover the level-difference section (15c).
