Abstract:
An electricity storage module 11 is provided with a plurality of electricity storage elements 10, and a retaining member 12 in which a plurality of cavities 19, accommodating each of the plurality of electricity storage elements 10, are formed side by side. An outer wall of the retaining member 12 has outer wall openings 36 through which each of the plurality of cavities 19 communicate with the outside. Outer surfaces of the plurality of electricity storage elements 10 accommodated in the plurality of cavities 19 are exposed to the outside from the outer wall through the outer wall openings 36. The retaining member 12 has: a first row of cavities 20, from among the plurality of cavities 19, arranged in two levels in the direction in which the cavities 19 are arranged; and a second row of cavities 21, from among the plurality of cavities 19, arranged in two levels in the direction in which the cavities 19 are arranged, in a position that is offset in a direction that intersects the direction in which the cavities 19 are arranged.
