Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the voltage applied between the terminals of a circuit breaker for an electricity-storage element when said circuit breaker trips. [Solution] This electricity-storage system has an electricity-storage device, relays, a plurality of smoothing capacitors, and a current-limiting resistance. The electricity-storage device has a plurality of electricity-storage elements connected in series. Each electricity-storage element is provided with a circuit breaker that closes off a current pathway inside said electricity-storage element. The plurality of smoothing capacitors are connected in series between a positive-electrode line and a negative-electrode line that connect the electricity-storage device to a load. Relays are disposed on the positive-electrode line, the negative-electrode line, and an intermediate line, respectively. Said intermediate line connects a point where two electricity-storage elements in the electricity-storage device connect to a point where smoothing capacitors connect to each other. The current-limiting resistance is also disposed on the intermediate line.
