Abstract:

In an electrification control device that is for a glow plug and to which a plurality of glow plugs are connected electrically in parallel, provided is a means that enables the detection of the disconnection of the connected glow plugs. The electrification control device that is for a glow plug and that is connected between a power source device and a plurality of glow plugs detects that a disconnection has occurred at a glow plug by obtaining the output voltage value to the glow plugs and the output current value to the glow plugs and, while distinguishing the electrification state of the glow plugs, using a threshold suitable to the distinguished state.
