Abstract:
Disclosed is an electro-deposition method for producing metallic silver, comprising: use an electrolytic cell having a specific diaphragm to electrolyze Ce(NO3)3-containing anode zone electrolyte and AgNO3-containing cathode zone electrolyte, wherein the electrolyte in the anode zone cannot enter the cathode zone; high-purity metallic silver is obtained at the cathode zone, and a Ce4+-containing solution is obtained at the anode zone after the electrolysis.
